Flashing a Benq drive without a PCI Sata card

I'm thinking of flashing my Benq drive, but i don't have the means to get a PCI Sata card as of now, so i wanted to know if it is possible to flash it using the ports on my mobo?

from what i understood; the Sata card is needed to bypass the encryption chip (or something like that) in the Benq drive, after downloading something called Xbox360 Hack Pack RC1 i found an option in it called Benq Unlocker is it good? should i use it if i can't get a card? or can i use my mobo?

Does your Mobo have Sata? If so it might work. I use the Sata built in my Mobo and it works fine.

Yes it does, but i tried to google this question and on some forums i find written that it must be a specific Sata chip similar to the one on the Pci Card. if that's true who am i supposed to know the chip i got?!?

either find the specs for that motherboard or do like I did and just try it. As far as I know you cant hurt nothing either it works or does nothing at all.

my sata chip was not listed as compatible but it still works fine. Use this to find out youe sata chipset http://www.pxserver.com/WinAudit.htm like I said mine is not listed as compatible but has allways worked with no problems.
