I softmodded my PS2 MC using this guide below,
http://ubergeek.awardspace.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=25

I got all the files properly on my MC but the trigger disc will not boot the uLaunchelf? I also added a couple of elf files to the PS2 Save Builder. CogSwap.elf and SNES_EMU.elf
I used Gameshark 2 with media player.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong or provided me with a better guide.

Theses are the item I have to use to make an MC exploit.
-An old big PS2
-USB stick
-Gameshark 2 with media player

So can anyone tell me or give me a link to a guide to create a MC exploit. I want to using the cogswap.

Thank you.

Don't use CogSwap. There is a better application out that you can use to load up burned games by patching them first. It's called Free MCBoot.
http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmc...tall_guide.html
That tutorial is a little complicating so if you don't understand it use:
http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/freevast...-tutorials.html
For the file downloads search the filename in Google. It is apparently illegal to post the link.

Here is another softmodding tutorial:
http://ashholt.googlepages.com/ps2softmod

For GameShark 2, to get the PS2 to recognize the gamesave, you need to save it as a sharkport .md file in PS2 Savebuilder. Then convert that .md extension to .ps2 before you attempt to transfer it to your PS2 via GameShark 2.
Originally posted by http://ubergeek.awardspace.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=25:
From the "Save as type" dropdown choose "Sharkport(*.md)" enter a filename, and press save. Rename this file to "Your SystemConfiguration.ps2", without the quotes obvously. (Note: there is no space between System and Configuration)
You also need to delete your old "YourSystemConfiguration" file from GameShark before you copy your new one over to it.

What PS1 game are you using? I can create the exploit and post it online for you to download.

I am also checking out the links you provided. Thank you for your assistance.

Are you going to be using HD Loader or FMCB? Personally, if you have 2MB free on your memory card, I highly suggest using FMCB. It includes:
uLaunchELF (a program for launching PS2 executables from a flash drive or hard drive)
ESR (Used to run backups without swaping disks. Patching required only)
HDLoader (Run games off the hard drive)
SMS (PS2 media player to play music/movies from a flash drive or hard drive)

You could lower the size of the install by uninstalling some of the above apps but this method is much much better than cogswap.

Do you have any other PS1 games? It looks like CoolBoarders 3 is not compatible.
If you have NFL Blitz, that'd make things easier since that is what I use and I know it works flawlessly.
Try to choose from a game in the list above so I can test it before I send it to you.
