okay i have a "fat" psp with the official sony 4.01 firmware. i want to get a custom firmware but im not sure how to do it. i keep hearing about a pandora's battery and magick memory stick in the newer threads.i also hear i can't even do anything with the psp in the older threads....so does anybody know how to downgrade/hack or whatever.i realize this is a noob question and i'm not the first to as about custom firmwares so any help will be greatly appreciated!

It's impossible unless you have a Pandora's Battery.
Search Google or AfterDawn for guides.

Here's the truth, all fat psp's can be hacked with Pandora regardless of their Firmware.

The only psp's that cant be hacked currently are the newest PSP slims with the Version3 motherboard, the other 2 versions of the PSP slims motherboard can be hacked.
