Hi my wii has the latest update so I upgraded the hbc to beta 9. I got the wad installer 1.3 to boot but for some reason it shows an error every time I try to install a wad. It shows the wad on the sd card but it just won't install it. Any help would be appreciated...

There could be a few issues.

If you updated the Wii with the most resent Wii update then the update has blocked the instillation of WAD files via homebrew applications. There is a work around HERE if this is the case.

HBC Beta 9 no longer has compatibility with elf extension boot files. So if the 1.3 wadmanager boot file has an elf extension then this is your issue.

You will need to use dol extension boot files. HERE is the 1.3 wadmanger with the dol extension boot file.

Just delete the old wadmanger application then download the above file. Extract it and copy the wadmanger file to the apps folder. It should now work.
