I am thinking about buying the ion drumset does anyone know if it works with Guitar Hero World Tour. I have read several posts that says it does and doesn't. Also would I be better off just buying the GHWT set. I am looking for something that will work with future games and the ion drum sets looks like it might.

From what i've read both companies announced that all peripherals should work w/the new games. Now the ion drumset is geared towards rockband, which has 4 drumpads and 1 footpedal. The GHWT drumset has 3 pads, 2 cymbols and 1 footpedal. what GHWT does when you plug in a RB drumset is drop out one of the buttons, since it was one less. So w/the ion set (i'm almost positive anyways) it will work, however it will drop one of the buttons out. So you should save yourself over $100, and just buy the GHWT bundle, unless you plan on buying the $300 synthesizer (or w/e that thing is called) as well and starting yourself a techno band.
