Hi All
I have just purchased a PSP console and when playing Tiger Woods 2008, I am having issues saving data to the disc, is there a specific Firmware, Memory Card to use? Or is this a bug in the Software itself?
Any ideas around this would be much appreciated....
You really didn't answer the question so I'm going to assume you have OFW (Official Firmware). If you had CFW you would've said so.
I haven't heard of any bugs with Tiger Woods 2k8 btw.
Two things to do:
1)Check to see if your memory card is MagicGate supported. Do that by going to any menu in the XMB that has Memory Stick as an option. Highlight it, press triangle and choose information.
It should tell you your capacity, free space, and whether magicgate is supported. If it's not supported then you have a fake mem stick and should get an official sony or sandisk pro duo card. Newegg sells them at a reasonable price. It's where I got mine.
2)Format your memory stick using sony's formatting utility built into the psp. I'm going to assume you don't have any saved data on there. If you do, i would suggest you back up your savedata folder onto your computer before doing the format.
After you have it backed up, go to your Settings menu, then down to system settings and finally to format memory stick.
If you have magicgate supported and you format the memory stick and still have problems saving, then post and let us know.
Firmware was OFW

Thanks for the info tried a Sandisk Card worked fine, must have got a dodgy Memory Card when bought off Internet.
