I have a problem, my Xbox 360 is modded, so i can play the xbox 360 backups.
although my backups for the old xbox are not possible to play, and I burnt them the same way as I used to to play backups on Xbox 1.
I burnt the .iso files with DVD Decryptor on a DVD+ and -R.
the games are listed on the xbox site as games that are compatible with xbox 360.
That's an old and well known problem. Do a search and you'll get the posts explaining why they don't work and what you can do about it. Then you'll be good to go.
no, there is only a certain kind of firmware that will play backed up xbox 1 games, and they have to be on DL disks. basically you'd have to reflash, just buy originals they are like $3.

That's close.
You can use single layered dvd's if you have a Samsung drive and are running one of the later versions of Xtreme firmware, not iXtreme. But even then, backups made on the original Xbox still may not work. It would depend on if the program used to backup the game modified the default.xbe. If it was modified, it wouldn't work.
If you have any other drive, then your Xbox 1 backups would have to be made following the same process as making 360 games, only using the "Xbox 1" options instead of the "Xbox 360" options. They would have to be burnt on dual layer discs.
And no, you can't rerip your Xbox 1 backups to make them work for the 360. They won't contain the necessary security info.
