I have a hell of a time finding Verbatium dual layer discs in my area so I usually get them off amazon. Being too anxious for them to arrive so I could burn SvsR09 I went and got some Memorex Dual Layer discs and while the game plays fine every now and again it freezes and I have to hard reboot the system. Is that because of the disc and the laser having trouble reading it as it only happens with that disc?

I've used other media in my past, but now I only stick with Verbatim! It could be the disc, but also what speed are you burning your games at? I always use Verbatims and burn at 2.4x! Other media usually last a few days, where Verbatims last in the long run.

Yes use verbatims! Thats the only discs that come near my console. But even with these you can get errors. Make sure you use a low burn speed and use verify after burning to make sure theres no errors

Everyone always says use Verbatims, but i have used AONE's and they work fine for me. Little bit cheaper in my area than Verbatims.

I suppose it really depends on what you find works, but cheaper media will not work aswell and you will probably spend more trying to burn cheap media than you would just buying more expensive AONE's or Verbatims.

just try to look for deals. I usually just buy them off of newegg, but verbs are the way to go. Nothing cheaper.
