Hey everyone, i'm new here...and sorry if this has been posted before..
i recently cleaned my ps2 for the first time (by myself) because i was currently experiencing the DISC READ ERROR and i was surprised that what i did worked! My previously unreadable games (some i didn't have the chance to play) worked! and now my ps2 reads the DVDs much faster now (not waiting for 10 mins for it to read)..
but here's the problem.. when i got home, i decided to play a new game in my ps2... when i put it in, it just read and read and read.... and so on... i tried my previously played game (which i just played yesterday) and now it can't be read too, all my games cant be played in my ps2! i just thought that i need to clean it again... so i cleaned the lens, adjusted the white cog thing inside... but now, it can't be read!.. i noticed something different now, (i think because i never noticed it before).. when the disc spins.. it slows down then spins faster again... it does that (slow then fast spin) until much later.. DISC READ ERROR... HELP!!!!!
