the problem is these flix are green & blocky (usually ffdshow would fix that). This is the main problem .
Sometimes in Tmpgenc audio wont load , but when I save
as wave & use tmpgen to convert it crashes 1 second in
I did manage to convert 1 flick , but video was still as described & there was no audio , thats when I saved it as wave in virtual dub them Tmpgenc crashed
I dont see the ability to add an attatchment here so I can post a screenshot of the properties so I`ll type a few here ,
xvid mpeg-4 codec , compression:unknown( tag 2000 )
Data rate:384 kbps (0.96% overhead)
Layout: 47 chunks 90.5s perload)
I have ffdshow & correct codec install as told by Gspot & ac3 for audio Hope this helps you help me . I`m baffled & frustrated
Green and blocky video means that you have a poor-quality rip (all too common). Good video is not difficult, it just takes time!
But it sounds like you have an audio problem.
If you are able to strip the audio using Virtual Dub and you have BeSweet, you can re-encode things in whatever fashion seems good to you.
I know when I do VCDs TMPGEnc likes WAV files, ideally CD quality PCMs, and it will want to do the audio itself using its built-in encoder.
If it crashes then, I dunno, your audio source file probably sucks? or damaged - but 1 second in?
Some weird film. Did you dload it?
Good luck bro'.
Thanks for your reply The_OGS , I just realized I have posted this in the wrong place , this is for encoding & I should have posted in playback .
Yes I did d/l these files & for everyone else who`s d/l they say they work great , so I think the error may be on my system somewhere , evidenced in fact I just ignored errors & converted one to mpg anyhow & it still wont play on my pc , but plays fine in my home DvD unit ,,,Odd !!!
I`m moving this post to the playback area & I thank you :)-
