First off my i hooked my computer through coax or optical both work fine the problem is in any games i only get 2 speakers i set the stero to auto for when i watch movies with dts i plays dts automaitcly but i have found out that I only get left and right and sub out of all my games i just want to use the rear speakers for hearing people sneak up behind me it works fine with my logitech 5.1 system i hear stuff from behind me but when i do it from the stero for higher quality audio it doesnt take advantage of it for any games at all tried

Fallout 3
Crysis
age of empires age of kings
C&C Genrals Zero hour

all of them just left and right channels and for the shooter games they sound better on computer speakers but the stero kills everything when it comes to movies... since it works fine then..

im useing windows vista and its a bit diffrent then setting it on xp
