d2pro9 v2 spi wii clip steady blue light

I have read alot of posts with people having a steady red light but I'm getting a steady blue light. The first time, the drive wouldn't stop spinning until I shut off the power. After that, the drive wouldn't spin or accept discs and I still had a steady blue light. When I removed the clip everything was fine and able to play originals. Anyone heard of this?

By the way, the the steady blue light is comming from where the red light should be.
