Hi everyone. Can anyone explain why there are some sites that are charging for DVD Shrink? I typed it in to my search engine and AFTERDAWN was the 3rd on the list, but the first 2 sites were charging for Shrink and yet it's freeware. It has the same "S" logo too and so is the same software so is that one a bigger version with extra features or are they just trying to rip us off?

It has been reported here many times.
It's a scam. Don't fall for it.

Shrink will not be updated anymore, and it's free! Don't be fooled.

Since Nero basically stopped the real DVD Shrink from further development by hiring the author to write Nero Recode, why doesn't Nero (Ahead Software) go after these scam sites that are unfortunately actually making money on the "stolen" DVD Shrink code?
Just wondering.

DVD Shrink is no longer updated and cannot handle the newer encryptions. However, if you already have your movie on your HDD and are simply wanting to fit it to a single layer DVD, here are a couple guides to assist you.
