X-Men Legends 2 for PSP

Hello,

I just bought a X-men legends 2 used, when I try to load it i get the infamous error code 80020148. I have cfw 3.90 m33-3 I also have cwcheat and popsloader. I tried playing the game as a ISO but no luck with that either. Can someone help me out??

I actually like my cfw as it is. I really don't want to update to the newest cfw.

Is there maybe a certain setting i need to be in on the "safe mode"
**for example: i need to be in 1.50 kernel or UMD Sony P...**

make sure that you are running under Sony NP9660 no umd mode. to check that hit select on your xmb and go down to UMD ISO Mode it should be under Sony NP9660. As for the kernal i think the kernal you are under plays no role on if your iso work but to change your kernal go in to recovery menu and under configuration change the kernal to 1.5 or whatever cfw you are running

yeah, i did try putting it in Sony NP9660 no umd mode and still nothing.

Just to verify, I have the UMD disc and tried loading that but the game will not launch. That's when I made it into a ISO and still it will not launch.

Is it because X-men Legends is an older game?? I also saw on one of the forums about fastloader?? will this help??

my advice is to update to 5.00m33-3 or try m33 driver no umd by pressing the select button
