ok so i was trying to flash my hitachi when i reverted to the 2 wire trick cause nothing else worked i undid the wires when the green light flashed and bam i thought i did it no it doesnt eject at all or the laser doesnt turn on *modded to dvd case* is it bricked

Sounds like it,I just bricked a hitachi also,it doesn't do anything.
Did you atleast get a dump of you firmware?
If So you can always get another Drive.
I have heard of a hotswap method to reflash them ,but I don't have a spare hitachi laying around to try it.It's in the text book guide.(Newest)

My Drive broke cause of a bad flash.There is other ways to save your drive,I know there's people on Xbox scene that will remove your chip read it and do what ever you want like flash it or swap drives.Let me search a bit and i'll pm you a link to a guy that fixes them.

Atleast you can contact him and see what your options are.
