I was watching this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYRnaImG28E
and did what it told me since the power switch of my power switch was not working, I tried this and then after some failed attempts, i turned it back on and there you go. I did not have a battery for the psp-1000 so i was using my pandora's battery. The text that normally appeared white is now blue.
please help me if you know wat the problem might be. I would think its the screen and want to get a new one, but since im not sure, im asking for help. Thanks.
here is a video to see what happens

Hey, the reason why is pretty ovious.
The pandora battery is to put it on service mode
It can't be used as a normal battery. I don't know what will happen because i don't have that much experience. I got this info from a forum i started up. I recommend you get a new/old normal battery or throw your psp in the bin because there is no other way.

i know it cant be used as a normal battery, but wen i put it on [just to see if the psp worked since i got it on ebay], the white text appeared with the instructions, and after i did wat the other video said[ to try to see if it would turn on], the screen had the same text, but now in a light blue text
