it probley been answer before but how do you release a disc if its stuck in the xbox 360 and it won't power up

take apart the console and then take the 4 screws out that holds the cover on for the dvd drive and lift the disc out.

nice one mrgreaper work a treat did't fancy wabashman advice would of void my warrenty and m$ would of never took it back told them had the three rings of death fixed for free

thats fine, i didnt know you could just slide a paperclip in and eject it that way; probably because i havent faced this problem yet though, lol.

yeah i didnt know till i was shown that page to help me detect reather my new 360 was a liteon or not lol (you look at the wire for benq and if its yellow its a liteon which my new one is doh(hardware to sort that in the post :)) )

its amazing the stuff you pick up when searching for something else!
