i was on 4.01 for a long time i decided to update. i trued to play star ocean and my save data says its corrupted i never used CWcheat on it. the only thing that it could be is the update. anyone know a fix for this? besides downgrading...

ok i just tried it in my friends psp 4.01 cfw and it works just fine wtf is up with 5.00 cfw

One sec. Need quick clarification...
Are you playing the PSP game star ocean or are you playing an emulated prior version?
In other words is it "Star Ocean: First Departure" or a prior Star Ocean?

Star Ocean First Departure for psp not the one for SNES.

Man that's just weird...

Are you running off of 5.00 m33-1 cfw or 5.00 m33-3? I know some stuff was addressed in those 2 revisions. Save games might have been one of them.

If you don't have m33-3, try upgrading to that.

Ok, just went searching on the web and came across this post.

Looks like you'll have to do either:
A)Downgrade to 4.01 to use that save file
B)Wait for 5.01 M33 to come out
C)Start a new game under 5.00 M33-3

I guess there's some compatibility issue with 4.01 to 5.00.
