Been scouring the internet and can't seem to get a clear answer on this.

I'm running 3.3u and have downloaded, installed, and successfully used the Zelda hack beta. NO copy errors or anything - so that's nice.

I've tried several times to run the Homebrew Channel 9 installer to no avail. I downloaded the complete package, reformatted my SD card (only an old 16M one to cut down on reformat time), put everything in my root directory so that the SD card looked like:

E:\wiiload\
E:\boot.dol

That's it.

Hack works fine - gets to the "Loading Block" part and then kicks out an:

"err = c1000003, reply..."

and it repeats a certain number of times until it says "hanging.."

Any ideas?

Got it - borrowed the wife's 512MB SD and it worked just fine - looks like you have to use anything below 2GB and ABOVE 16MB.

Time for me to upgrade to the 21st century...
