looks like they finally got rid of the power stealing socket, and went standalone AC adapter. and it's temperature controlled now, so it only turns on when needed. and it's smaller than the previous version, so it won't interfere with cooling stands.

but, is it worth it since jaspers are coming? and why didn't they think of this in the first place?

ya that looks pretty nice ... the temp sensing feature will definitely help with the horrendous noise the EX made...

and the seperate AC power is a big big plus...

i checked newegg and its not available yet ... =/
