back up games wont play after start up scrren

can anyone give me a simple way to fix back up games on wii some wii games will play (pal or ntsc) and others wont have not been able to fix and wii is chipped but still no luck
have put region free on it changing to pal but still wont fix problem cant understand how it comes up on start up menu and plays music then turns scvreen black and turns remote off
can anyone fix its doing my head in

Use Gecko OS. Set the TV force to your region.

no problem with tv just half a dozen games tht i got from hong kong that wont play after start screen it just goes black

probably bad copies (Assuming that they're copies). It's my policy never to buy anything from Hong Kong unless I'm there to test it IN THE STORE.
