Sorry gang- new to all of this but anxious to learn.
Someone gave me a disk from their DVD camera. It contains IFO and VOB files and they want to me to rip them to a DVD. My question is an ignorant one. How do I copy these files to a DVD from my hard disk in a way such that the DVD plays automatically? I can play them on my computer with WinDvd by going into Windows Explorer and double clicking on the Video_TS.IFO file, but what will happen when I put the ripped DVD into a standard DVD player?
I apologize for the ignorance, but am finding this subject is vast and difficult for new users to research. Thanks
Bill

Download DVD Shrink (free)). Download Imgburn (free). Open VIDEO_TS folder with Shrink to analyze and make sure all files are DVD compliant. Burn with Imgburn to quality blank media (Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden) at 6x or 8x. Seach Afterdawn for guides.
