HELLO EVERY ONE IM NEW IN HERE AND I HAVE BOUGHT MEMOREX DVD+R DL
AND MODDED XBOX360 BUT >I COULD NOT BURN BY USING NERO 9,ALCOHAL,CLONE 5
AND POWERISO BUT NO ONE WORKS AND IT HAS BEEN VERY DIFFCULT
I WILL BE RELLY THANKFUL IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME HERE>THANkS

Please don't shout. All caps are a no no.
You are using some of the worst DL media known to man.
The only reliable DL media is Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) made in Singapore burned at 2.4x.
Posting a log file may find other things that could cause the problem as well.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

In addition to the spot-on advice from Dialysis, i'm going to recommend Imgburn over Nero for DL burning.

Unless Imation, which bought Memorex and laid off all its people, has changed sourcing for DL media, Memorex DVD+R DL are manufactured by Ritek. That would make them the second best DL discs available in terms of drive support and close to Verbatim in terms of quality because they manufacture so many more than Verbatim does; and manufacturing experience is critical in applying the multiple layers.
The user did not mention his recording drive, assuming that by "modding" he or she did not substitute a drive that could record. The relationship between the drive and the disc is critical; and without knowing what drive is used for recording as well as the version of firmware, it is impossible to tell what is wrong. Verbatim DL 2.4X will go away sometime when economic and market pressures force the Singapore plant to move to IS (inverse stack) production. Some Verbatim DL already have been reported as having come from India's Moser Bayer plant--a sign of the market pressures.

I HAVE PHILIPS DVD+RW DVD8631 ATA DEVICE DVD/CD-R
which I HAVE JUST COPY ONE GAME WITH NERO ON VERBATIM
DVD+RW DL AND IT HAS BEEN COPIES PERFECTLY BUT MY MODDED XOX360
DID NOT PLAYED THAT COPY .IT SAID TO PLAY THIS DISC, PUT IT IN
XBO360 CONSOLE.
IT HAS RELLY MADE ME CONFUSED AND I BOUGHT THIS XBOX 360 FROM EBAY AND IT DISCRIBE SOMETHING LIKE THIS .

HERE I HAVE MY XBOX 360 THAT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON FOR A FEW WEEKS.
I HAVE REPLACED ALL THE FANS TO STOP OVERHEATING CLEAR DVD DRIVE CASE TO SEE THE DVD SPINNING. LEDS ALL OVER AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS. I HAVE DISSABLED THE RING OF LIGHT SO ONLY THE POWER LIGHT SHOWS. BUT YOU CAN SEE IF THE PAD IS CONNECTED ON THE PAD LIGHTS.
ALL LEDS ARE BRIGHT BLUE NOTHING ELSE.
THIS IS A ONE OF OFFER
IN THIS SALE I AM INCLUDING ALL CABLES, THE MODDED 360, ONE GENUINE MICROSOFT WIRELESS CONTROLLER AND THE HEADSET.
IT SAID MODEED IF IT WAS IT WOULD HAVE PLAYED THE copyed game.
ALSO THE SPRING ON THE FRONT USB FLAP IS BROKE BUT CAN BE FIXED NO PROB.

Now here we go. It's hard to read all caps, but I have.
You are trying to burn a 360 download iso. Fair enough.. On verbatim it should work just fine.. but.. You need to modify the firmware in the 360's dvd drive. It seems that this may have been attempted, but that doesn't mean that the flash has worked..especially as the front lights have ben tampered with so you have no way to know if the xbox is putting out an error code before displaying the on screen error.. see the 360 topics for drive flashing guides.
Your burner may be no good. People in the know tend to use Pioneer112d and above dvd burners for 360 games. My older very good burners (nec-samsung) will not burn 360 iso's reliably even though scans of the disks show better burns. That's strange, but it is one of those facts of life we sometimes have to accept.. philips dvd burners are in my experience rather poor in many respects.
Does the 360 play original disks.. once a machine has been opened up and messed about by persons unknown you only have their word that it was working. Personally I would be suspicious of a much modded 360, which somebody has taken a lot of time trouble and expense over being sold on the cheap on fleabay.
I hope my insights help.. d/l disks are expensive and it's a pity to waste too many when buying a new burner for not much more than 10 blanks could solve all the problems.
