omg... y don't people ever learn.
ok so i will tell you how i knew how to download games into my psp. First of all you need to research abit and learn about it and stop asking people because they might not give you a proper answer and stuff your psp up. I strongly reccommend you buy a pandora battery ( it makes your psp go on service mode. Do NOT USE THIS A NORMAL BATTERY. When you got the battery you need to download cfw from the internet and transfer it onto a memory card. I also strongly reccommend you get a 4 or 8 or higher memory card. If you don't know what i am talking about then search some key words up that are highlighted. I looks easy but it takes lots of time. Read as many guides about making a magic memory stick. Good luck

Hi, i can give you an easier way to be able to watch movies and play games on your psp with only using a memory card and no umd's, or even buying any games or movies.
Like what 'lol101' said, you dont really need to buy a pandoras battery if you dont want to spend any more money, however he is right for sure about getting a 4gb or 8gb memory card if you want to put the games or movies on, however try and get a pro duo memory card as they are more reliable and other makes may end up messing up.
I bought a 8gb memory card for just £12 on ebay, so they are going cheap now.
All you need to do is first downgrade to a 1.50 so you can use homebrew games and apps like game emulators (snes, sega, ps1) nd all different apps, which the best website to look at later for them is 'www.psp-hacks.com'. Then upgrade to 3.40 OE-A which enables you to start watching movies and playing games for free.
Ok, before i talk about all of this, you need to check if your psp is able to downgrade to 1.50, so first of all get your psp and turn it around so it is facing the back, then open the umd case. Now look at the top right hand side in the psp where you will see a green colour, now you will need to check if there is any writing on the green bit, if there is then you will not be able to downgrade the psp, however if there isn't then you are safe.
So get back to me and tell me if it is ok to downgrade the psp, and also tell me what size memory card you have got. The i will take you through the steps to do this.

Another thing is that the only time really when you need a pandoras battery is when your firmware is 3.51 or above, otherwise you are safe without having to buy a pandoras battery. Also if you do need a pandoras battery, you can make one your self without having to buy one, which it has worked for me when i tried it on my cousin's psp when he unluckly bought a psp with 3.51 firmware.

The umd case is where you go and put your games in, on top of your psp where it says open. slide it to the right side to open the umd, then turn the psp so it is facing the back where you can see inside of the psp as shown in the picture.
Haven't you ever open the umd before to put games in there?

If you dont know where the umd is, it says it at the back of the psp in white if your psp is black.

Hi, have you found out if it is able to downgrade yet, i will try and make this as simple as possible.
Step 1: have your psp in your hand facing the screen.(see web below for pic)
http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news_pics/15292/PSP_SKYPE_1.jpg
Step 2: turn your psp around so it is facing the back.(see web below for pics)
http://videogame2play.com/wp-content/upl.../psp-back_w.jpg
Step 3: Now open the umd. (see web below for pics)
http://nextweb.com.br/sony_psp/psp_back.jpg
Step 4: Now look at this picture below, now can you see where i am telling you to look, it is the red circle that you need to be looking at.
http://gamerscrew.com/html/images/stories/hql/pspboardphoto.jpg
Now look inside the red circle on that website above, you can see a green colour inside the red circle, thats where you need to be looking. All you need to check if you see any sort of writing there (the writing should be on top of the green colour you see).
Right if you dont see any writing on top of the green colour, then you are safe, meaning you are able to downgrade your psp to 1.50.
I'm sorry but this is as simple as i can put it, so if you are still stuck then you can tell me where abouts you get stuck, which i will still try and help.
Reply back and tell me if you are stuck or you know that if you can or can't downgrade by doing all the steps there.
Thanks.

Hi, are you talking about when you open the umd and look inside the psp it is covered up, so you can't see inside the psp when opening the umd, like on this picture...
http://gamerscrew.com/html/images/stories/hql/pspboardphoto.jpg
Can you somehow give me a picture of your psp bit covered, i would normally say send to my email address however i am not allowed to give my email address on this site.
You will need to find out this unless it is up to you if you want to risk it, even though if do risk it and it does brick your psps meaning mess it up, you can just make that pandora battery to unbrick and make it back to normal.
But it would be better if you do find out if it is ok.

Hi, it is up to you but if you know how to get that cover off and check if it is able to downgrade, on top of the green bit on the top right hand side inside the psp after you open the umd, there shouldn't be any writing.
It is up to you but i will give you the guide to downgrade it to 1.50, however first you need to upgrade it to 3.30, everything is there on this website so just go through it step by step.
http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstat...sage.id=2933120
However it is at your own risk and up to you, so since it is up to you, you shouldn't be blaming anyone else if anything goes wrong, if you do go for it, then have your battery charged 75% atleast but just in case charge it at 100%.
If you open the cover as you say which is in the way and check, then you know what to do to check it if it is ok.
Good luck

sorry last thing but there shouldn't be any cover at all you just might be confused about this because i was bit then knew what i was looking at.
Turn the psp around and open the umd, look at the top right hand side in the psp, you should see a screw, now look just above it where you will see a green bit the colour green, if you dont see any writing on top of the green bit then you are safe. Try these steps ive just typed.
i dont know what you mean by the cover on top, if you want to be safe you need to check this so try and send me a picture if you still cant figure it out.
