Hello,i have a psp that wont switch on but it will charge,it has official firmware and is no way bricked because ive tried pandora battery and its not even flashing the power lights,it seems that battery power is not coming through,ive checked the power fuse and its showing continuity,can anyone help as i cant figure this out!thanks

Hi, try taking the battery out and just connect the charger into the psp, then try turning it on.
If that doesn't work then...
What firmware are you as i tried doing something with a program on the psp and it turned off and didn't turn on at all, so what i did is went to recovery mode by (having the psp completely turned off, keep hold of R1 then turn on the psp with R1 kept hold until it goes to recovery mode). Then from there go to configurations and change the firmware, so say you have a 3.40 OE-A firmware, then change it to 1.50 by selecting 'X' or 'O' (which ever one you use to select).

Try it and get back to me to see if it has worked.

Hello,as i stated,it will charge but will not switch on even with battery out it wont work of the power and as i stated also,i have official firmware,not custom and i wont be able to get to recovery mode because my problem is that i cant switch it on at all!nothing to do with firmware

did you try to take out the memory card then turn it on? i think that happened to me once...

Hello,yeah ive tried everything but its just not sending power to switch it on.tried new battery,everything,its a power issue and it must be fused somewhere on the board
