I have 5.00 M33-3 and I just downloaded Irshell 4.7 with the patch. It won't let me play any isos. It just says "No disc inserted."

well do you other wise it wont run the iso

i dont use IRshell as i like the original psp OS so i dont know how to change the umd mode if you find umd mode on IRshell change it to m33 or sony NP9960 and you should be able to play the iso without the UMD in

I'm having a similar issue w IR Shell 4.8. My m33-3 psp will not load ISO's. The ISO's are in the ISO folder. I have tried with a UMD inserted, with the FW and IRShell both set to require a UMD. When I try to load an ISO it instead loads the UMD that I have inserted. I've tried removing the UMD and setting the M33 and IR Shell to m33 no UMD, and it gave me the error a disc is not inserted. I then tried with the SONY no UMD and it did the same thing. Any ideas why IRShell refuses to play my ISOs?

I'm not certain I ran a patch. What I did was download IRShell 4.7 and the update to 4.8. The update just overwrote some files from 4.7. Is there an actual patch file I need to run?

Thank you for the help.

You, sir, are a genius! (at least compared to my moderately high level of retarded...). I poked around IRSHELL and found a PATCH folder which contained (what else?) PATCHES! I ran the patch for my firmware and everything is perfect. Thanks for the help!

Is this something I missed in the IRShell readme file, I swear I didn't see anything about the patch until you brought it up.

Anyway, thanks.
