According to a warning from an online safety watchdog, online fraudsters are selling financial identities of people in the UK for just £80. The package includes passport numbers, names, addresses, and credit card numbers.

The Get Safe Online group in the UK are now warning the public to be more cautious about how they manage their finances over the Internet. 60% of Britons now go online to manage their finances.

Tony Neate, a spokesman for the group, said: "If internet users invest a relatively small amount of time and money in ensuring they are fully protected and up-to-date, the risk of such financial loss is almost negligible."
