RRoD Fix - Xclamp and Memory Heat Sinks

After the update I got the ban then the RRoD. As a result I ordered the stuff needed to do the xclamp fix and its on its way but in the mean time I noticed that the 4 memory chips underneath my board didnt have the heat sinks that most others do that people recomend changing too to fix the RRoD problem. I have ordered the Xecuter RRoD Kit that comes with 4 new heat sinks for the memory chips but they are also on their way.

Anyone else seen this on a 360 before? Mine is about 2 years old and im thinking that with the memory not having the head sinks this may well be my problem.

On the older ones I've seen they didn't have the thermal pads 2005 and 2006.
I've seen 2007 360's that didn't have them and some refurbished 2006's that do have them. I'm pretty sure all new ones should have them though.

When I do an x-clamp repair I always remove those and do the penny trick.
