Ok, here's the scenario: Lets say I have my console banned but the account is still good.

Can I go to a friends house, log onto live with MY account, and purchase RB dlc to a mem card, and then bring that back to my banned console, transfer it over to my HD and play it? I'm just wondering since the purchase account (MINE) and the console account info is the same. It was purchased with my account data, and is being played with my profile data.

Has anyone done this first hand and it works out like this or similar?
