at the drives try it is a BenQ (LiteOn-Philips) VAD6038 drive.

i am looking for a good guide or to flash this drive with ixtreme firmware 1.4.

also need to know if i can use dvd-r s with this drive???

i got a old compaq presario 6000 amd desktop with no SATA.
