My psp fell of a table

after it fell it was still working (it had an iso running but was on standby) however after i turned it off, and back on it would no longer run umd's isos or normal games from ms.

when i run a iso/game it freezes at PSP Playstation Portable (after the little animation) but it doesn't act like its frozen, it still dims the screen and it doesn't shutdown.

When i try to turn it off the screen goes black and the green light blinks but it doesn't turn off. I can still get to the XMB and play music and videos and browse the web. it won't launch the recovery file which is an update to 5.00 m33 because i used a magic ms to reflash it hoping it would help but now it is 3.73. it also won't exit recovery when i press exit it just freezes/dims/but doesn't turn off

I assume that you had an unprotected PSP which fell off a table. When it fell off, how high was it, and what kind of floor did it land on. Also, what part of the PSP did it land on (try to give a good description).

Try to fully charge it then play your games. If nothing else works, then I suggest you take it to some store and get it fixed; it's definitely a hardware problem

What I want to know is what could be knocked loose in the psp that would allow it to do everything except load games and umds and also prevent it from going to standby?
