How to convert mono to stereo on dvd

Im trying to backup the movie "Pieces" on dvd. This dvd has a crappy mono lang soundtrack but no stereo option. Is there a way to convert the mono to stereo on this and burn movie only to dvd? Thanks

If it's only got a mono sound track then you'll not be able to covert it into proper stereo - there isn't the data there for any prog to pick up and convert. You can have a stereo channel running the same mono output but that would be the same as the mono really so I don't think there is any way sorry.
