I have made a Pandora Battery, i think, and now can't seem to make a Magic Memory Stick. I have a PSP model 1006 on OFW 5.01. I don't know what to do next. i have a 4G memory card, running Vista. do i have to downgrade to get custom firmware...please help. thanks
If you know someone with cfw psp get them to make you a mms, you can make one by using your pc but its a hell of alot harder, there are lots of tuts on this site, you are better off trying to find someone with cfw to make it!
If you're not sure that your battery has been converted to a jigkick (pandora), just put it into your psp. If the power light comes on without being touched, you have successfully made a jigkick. If it doesn't come on, then the conversion wasn't successful.

And make sure when you make magic mem sticks you do it on an XP machine. For some reason I've noticed vista has a bug up it's ass towards doing this and I'm really not sure why.

When you have your magic mem stick made, turn your psp off, unplug the ac adapter, then drop your jigkick battery in and if it starts up, just follow the instructions :)
you cant make a mms wit a 4 gig mem stick it has to be 2gig or lower on a count that the 4 even when formatted correctly is still read wrong by the psp
LINKS AT THE BOTTOM if your on vista this the easiest way to make a magic mem stick ill give you the files in this first what you do is get hellcats pandora installer revision 4a(note before going on back up all mem stick files) then go to memstick options then go to format mem stick(this has the same action as mspformat which cant be ran on vist)then put the msipl.bin and the msinst files both in your local disk (go to computer then the drive letter will be C:), then go to start and in the serch bar type in "cmd" right click that and run as administrator in the black box type "c:\msinst.exe x c:\msipl.bin"
