Hey All,
Does anyone know what the warranty on Guitar Hero World Tour? And is it true that there is no warranty from EA or Harmonix for Rock Band 2? o_O

Also, does Guitar Hero World Tour's instruments laggy? Just wondering because I just bought Rock Band 2 and I'm wondering if I should bring it back TO Best Buy and exchange it for Guitar Hero World Tour since the songs are really easy to beat on Rock Band.

Thanks In Advance

Rock Band 2 and 1 offers a warranty. In fact if you were to open the box, the first thing you will see is a letter stating that not to go back to where you bought Rock Band but rather send or contact EA.
Your probably looking at the standard 30 to 90 day warranty for both.

The representative at the local Best Buy told me that there was no warranty for Rock Band 2!
Can anyone confirm this and the warranty for Guitar Hero World Tour?

Sorry but this sales person is pulling a fast one on you!! Think about it. Almost anything you buy now comes with a manufacturers warranty.
K I will do you one better. The last page of the Rock Band 2 manual states:
" Limited 60 day hardware warranty." "EA and its licensors warrant to the original purchaser of any Rock Band hardware peripheral, including guitar, a drum, or a microphone that the peripheral is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 60 days from the date of the original purchase. It basically goes on to say that if in fact the peripherals does breaks within 60 days, EA will replace them.

Of course the sales person at Best Buy will tell you it does not come with a warranty. He's trying to sell you their own warranty. I personally think that's shady as hell. I can understand that he wants to make a warranty sale but lying flat out is just damn wrong. I had people from Best Buy (future shop in canada) sell me extended warranty but they say that we can add an extra x-amount of warranty on top of the existing manufacturers warranty. Man if I was you I'd go back to that store and talk to the manager!

Oh God
That's exactly what I'm going to do and give them hell about this. Maybe then I'll get a majour discount for their employee lying to me >.<

But the 2 year plan is always good just in case my instruments do break. If it's the last day of the warranty I could always break it to get a new one!

I'm super pissed now. I paid 240 dollars for Rock Band 2 and the replacement plan even after I price matched it!
