Ok, I have recently over the the last month been in this 360 scene. I have read numerous tutourials about flashing and backing up. I have a Hitachia 0047DJ model drive and i had read in the Flashing for Dummies that you could flash the 360 with a sata to usb cable, which i figured was awesome as it was compatible with my drive and my computer doesn't have sata chipsets. So i hooked it all up and the computer still doesn't recognise. Have i done something wrong? Do i still need a sata chipset if i am using a sata to usb cable. I powered on the xbox after start up of the computer and with start up and still is not recognised? Any ideas.

Sorry if this has been posted but i have searched google and here and can't find the answer. Any links or responses would be appreciated.
