Hi All,

ive bricked my PSP. i accidentally selected the 'create pandora battery' option and then turned it off when the process started..

now my psp doesnt load, just a green power light is visible...

I have a PHAT PSP with firmware 4.01 m33. What can be done? can i unbrick it without replacing the battery?

right now...pretty much the only option you have is to unbrick it using a pandora's battery + majick stick...There are some versions (Despertar del cementerio by dark_alex) of it that will install certain versions of custom firmware...it just all depends on what version you want to ubrick it to...

Yeah use this website which will be helpful, it is in steps.

Remember you need to have windows xp computer to make the pandora's battery, as vista has problems (i have tried it on 3 vista computers and all 3 had problems making it work).
You will also need a psp 1ith versions 1.50, or custom firmware psp to make the pandora's battery and magic memory card.

You probably haven't bricked your PSP.

Creating a Pandora Battery will not brick the PSP. It will just convert your battery to a Pandora Battery.

Once that has been done and you turn off the PSP then back on it will go into service mode (green power light nothing else unless you have a Magic Memory Stick in the PSP to boot from).

Try taking out your battery and then plug the PSP in via AC Adapter (leave the battery out). Now turn on your PSP and see if it starts up.

If it does boot up then you will need to convert your battery back to normal (thats if you didn't brick the battery by turning off the PSP during the converting processes).

To convert it back to normal do the steps above (start up PSP via AC Adapter only). Now place the battery into the PSP and run the Pandora battery creator and convert it back to normal.
