I am torn between a Full ATX tower or a Mid ATX tower, I have the Full ATX tower in mind: the ABS Canyon http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...pk=abs%20canyon now I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this thing would keep my system icey, just would it be well overkill and could I better use a Mid Tower for this setup:

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817814002
OS HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136296
2nd HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148301
MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131352
Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145222
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115202
Vid card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102768

Now that is basically the system; add the blue ray drive and audio card, I know the psu is a bit overkill I do plan on getting a second 4870 x2 for the system later down the road. Well if you think I could benifit just as much from a Mid ATX Tower please point me in the right direction; since I personally do not like Full towers; to big for my taste, but I can't seem to find a Mid tower that makes me feel comfortable enough yet ><

That PSU hasn't been officially tested with the Crossfire X config. This one has been and passes with flying colours:

With that much power, you can't afford to risk a unit that isn't going to pull its weight. Most of those tiny Tagan boxes can't put out what they say they can.

Your parts list is excellent, if overpriced, as for games the i7 920 and all this lot is outperformed by a Core 2 Quad with a cheaper X48 board and DDR2 RAM, so consider that.
Also, you will need to use Windows Vista to run two 4870X2s at once, XP does not support this. It's also worth mentioning that two X2s will only be of any use if you have a 30" monitor.

Lastly, this case should suffice if you want a big imposing full tower:

On a more realistic budget:
