Hey guys, I've tried asking this on the Xbox forums, e-mailing Xbox support, but haven't received any help. I'm going to copy/paste the thread I made and hope somebody could help me on this:

I have two Xboxes. One of them, which I consider my primary, is hooked up directly to my wireless router. The other one connects wirelessly from another room. I have the exact same settings on both (personal settings, family settings, nothing blocked off, etc) and I use the same gamertag for both systems.

For some weird reason, the wired Xbox outputs conversations to my speakers even though I have the settings set to output through my headset. At first I thought it was a problem with my headsets or controllers, but after testing everything through the wireless Xbox, they all work fine except for when I use them on the other console.

Has anyone experienced something like this before?

P.S. I disconnected the wire from the primary and connected to Xbox Live through the wireless adapter. I keep having the same problem.
