Hello

I'm in the UK and thinking about modding my xbox360, which back up games will i be able to play once it's done, PAL, NTSC or both?

modding your console does not change its region. It will still only work with the original region.

In you case if bought in the UK....PAL, though when you get games you will also see region free games which can be played on all consoles regardless of their region.
