I have no idea if this is a stupid question. It most likely is. But oh well.
I recently bricked my PSP upgrading to the new firmware (the new one from Sony, not a custom firmware), and in the middle of it I dropped the PSP and it shut off. Now it won't start. Joy.
My question is: Will the Pandora + mms unbricker work on my PSP running a considerably recent Sony firmware? I've been reading about this stuff, and I thought I kept seeing that the PSP "has to have the ability to run homebrew." I didn't know if that meant it wouldn't work on mine, since mine was not on a custom firmware.
So... Help me?
Hi,
what psp have you got the phat or slim?
Also before you started upgrading the firmware, what firmware was it, do you remember.
Yes it should do as it will unbrick any psp version's for the phat. after unbricking it you can use the pandoras battery to downgrade it to any firmware, which after doing that you can use the pandora battery again to unbrick any psp and downgrade any psp as many times as you want.
Then after unbricking it you can downgrade your psp to version 1.50 so you can play homebrew games and work apps on your psp, also then if you upgrade and update your psp to the version 3.90 m33-3, you can then watch movies and play games on your psp loading from your memorycard, without having to buy any game or movie.
I have a phat PSP, but I can't remember what firmware my PSP was on before it bricked. I do know that it was probably one of the later 3s or one of the earlier 4s. I can't tell you beyond that.
But it sounds like I should be good, right, since it can downgrade any PSP?
You need to have a psp with 1.50 already installed so you may have to borrow someone's psp with it already on 1.50 or custom firmware.
Also you need to be using a windows xp computer to make it (the pandora's battery and magic memory stick).
If your stuck with this then just reply back and i will try and help you.
