Bricked PSP when using popsloader v4.01

So today I was using popsloader 4.01 and playing FF7 Disc 1. Then I put the psp on standby while I was playing the game. When I turned it back on it was frozen and so I pressed the power button, and as I pressed it the psp shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I was trying to turn it off, but it turned off right as I started turning it on. Now I believe my psp is bricked. I tried taking out the mem stick and battery separately and together, still nothing. I haven't tried attaching it to the charger because I'm not near it, but I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem while they were using popsloader.

EDIT: BTW, I am using a white (Japanese) PSP-1000 AKA phat psp

EDIT AGAIN: Thanks, turns out my charger wasn't plugged in when I left it charging overnight the past night. Also I learned that the standby feature isn't compatible with psx games (or at least ff7). The psp will crash when you try to resume the game.

Try turning on the PSP and hold the R shoulder button down. This should boot into recovery mode. So if it does then go to your plugins and disable everything there and see if it will boot up then.
