I had used an older version of ConvertXtoDVD just fine but hadn't used in maybe half a year and I tried to use it again today. When I put the file in the program and clicked convert an error message came up telling me "There is not enough free space left in the folder "(the ConvertXtoDVD folder". Make sure this drive has at least 4.2 GB free."

The problem is I can't find this folder anywhere so I can't even make free space. So I tried wiping out the whole program and I got the newest version and the same problem is occurring.

Can anyone help me out please?

Go under "Options"-"General" and select a folder on a partition on your hard drive that you know it has more than 5 Gb free space.

The ConvertX folder is in MyDocuments.

If you are being warned about space then you will probably want to see how much room is left on your C:\ Drive. You might have to do some house cleaning.

Hmm, well I tried both of what was suggested and it still won't work right. I tried defragmenting and deleting certain things I didn't need on my C drive and the free space still didn't budge. I think if i just switch the folder into the D drive I will be okay.

thanks for your help

Unless you empty your Recycle Bin, no space is reclaimed by deleting.
