error trying to backup to ISO file on Vista

I'm having trouble with DVD shrink. I've used it for years on my old laptop with XP but my new one has Vista (ugh! hate it) so I've followed the advice from this website and tried using DVDfab then FixTSI but when I try to back it up with DVDshrink to an ISO file I get the error message:

DVDshrink has encountered an error and cannot continue. The specific folder is invalid. Access is denied.


I've been coying to an ISO file for years on my old laptop and then burning with ImgBurn without problems.

Try sending the ISO to a folder you already have or to your desktop.

Are you logged in as an administrator? Try right clicking on DVDShrink and run as an administrator and see if that makes a difference after you try what dialysis suggested.

I did what you said about a "new file" and it worked!!! Thank you! problem solved!
