It?s really sad to see how the forum is spoiled because of some people stupidity!!!
I recommend to publish the list of up to date available fixes. Make it Sticky and Closed.
For all of those who without reading previous posts will be crying out for help to place a temporary BAN!
The solution is there and we need is just some time! There is no need to beg for codes, besides they will last for half of the day, for the day at most. You will spend more time for entering them manually from remote then watching TV! And those who will know how to use them supposed to know from where to take them!!!
In most cases Google is your best friend.

A lot of people buy these boxes with the promise of online support, so its no surprise people are logging on for the first time looking for help. They don't realise once they log on its online help yourself support, while some people are only too happy to spend a little time and explain this you have to remember most people are buying these boxes because they can't afford the real deal so while its ok for sellers to quickly take their money its understandable why people come online in a panic thinking they have been ripped off and don't spend a few minutes to read posts. I've worked with numerous boxes over the last few years but still have to log on now and again myself for updates, so instead of issuing bans and threats maybe the sellers should take responsibility and explain to the buyer they will get online information and help but to read the posts first instead of "lifetime online support" at specified websites where first timers have never used this type of forum before.

If you bought a box from this forum (i doubt it) you post has a reasonabley valid point.If you want 100% gaurantee for the money you paid go get a cable contract and stop hassling the folk on here who are just trying to help.
Spell check apoligies,just in from the pub.

I bought a box, I was a newbie, I came to AD, I learned now I try to help, alot of the people here come to AD when the box is down and we never see them again, they get thick and frustrated with the people who give up there time and help, so to true Murz if you have no patience, won't read rules and demand advice, this box is'nt for you.

Its nothing to do with a 100% guarantee, its to do with having a bit of patience for people who are visiting for the first time, and who's hassling who. The point i think you are missing is there are dubious sellers just looking for peoples money who are directing them to this site and they have nothing to do with this forum, so first timers turn up looking for the solutions they were promised, yes they will find the solution eventually and most people are helpful but a bit of patience and understanding go's a long way and maybe this is what will encourage them to come back.
I've been on a few Sat/Cable forums over the years and i find this one the best by far.

If that is the case consumers who bought their receivers with the UPDATED firmware installed should send the boxes back for a full refund.
If not and they have been sold the boxes with the FTA Firmware on and then had to flash there receiver then they know the procedure so simply put the FTA Firmware back on and then send it back.
There is no reason for people not to read the forum rules and constantly ask for updates with regards to codes and continuously ask the same question over and over again making the Moderators work overtime and annoying the regulars who are in here helping for free.

Bigsss I understand what your saying and beleive me I'd love to give everyone what they need, but when you advise someone to stop asking for codes or please don,t post codes and they think your doing it to be spiteful, and you advise a fix will be sought please be patient and they still think your been spiteful it does get a bit tedious. Especially when there are so many good folk here, who have given time and patience, and a lot of threads with good info now closed.

I do appreciate whats been said, but the first post to call people stupid is wrong, their just in a panic and inexperienced.
