Hello gentlemen,

I successfully managed to convert AVC-based MKV or HDV (camcorder) movies to AVCHD so I can play them on my Blu-ray player (Panasonic BD30)
I basically use TsMuxer.

However I've been striving, searching, googling, trying and testing to create a simple multi-movie AVCHD (or call it blu-ray) with a simple Menu (one item in the menu points to a movie / chapter)..... but to no avail.

I just can't believe there is no simple authoring software out there to do just that ?? WITHOUT re-encoding

I tried Nero but it always tries to re-encode
I tried Ulead MovieFactory but it would not write to hard drive, only to dvd burner.

All we need is to be able to select somes M2TS files and assign each of them to a menu item.

I'd appreciate your experience on this topic, I guess I'm not the only one who wants to stuff several AVCHD cam movies / episodes on one single DVD as AVCHD ??? (or even blu-ray)

Thanks

Yes you are not the only one, I am still using Nero which takes like 10 hours just to re-encode videos that don't need to be re-encoded.
Thats one long wait just to add menus to my AVCHD discs.

Strive, google, and search no more. Here you go. Not sure how well it works, I have never used it as I have no need to. Ask for support there please.

EDIT: Before you follow the link, I'm pretty sure the software funs under Mac, not Windows.

Here is a Windows-based program that creates menus for AVCHD:
