I had this happen a few times with SmartRipper. Never figured out what caused it. I switched to DVD Decryptor and everything's fine.

I am getting the same problem myself. However, I am (and have always been) using DVD Decrypter to rip my dvds to my hard disk.

No one has posted a solution to this problem, from what I can gather.

It used to be OK. But I have recently installed a new DVD-ROM to my pc - the problems seem to have started since that point.

I shall reinstall WINDVD3 on my machine and hope that it works properly again.

If anyone out there does have a working solution to this problem please post it here!

Update
------
I have reinstalled WINDVD (version 4) and I no longer get that error. However, I get no video or audio output when I test my rips using the DVDPlay button in IFOedit now.

Luckily Windvd4 lets you play a dvd rips from the hard disk so it's a workaround but if anyone knows how to get video and audio output on the DVDplay feature of IFOEdit, please post it here!!

UPDATE

Couldn't work it out. So performed a rebuild instead.

Installed Windvd4 after rebuild, got audio in IFOEDit but no video!!

Uninstalled Windvd4 and kept the files that it warned me agaist deleting. Tried IFOEdit again and I now get video and audio.

Re-installing Windvd4 led to same problem as above (audio & no video), so uninstalled Windvd4 and installed Windvd3 and it's fine now.

shit shit shit
