Is this all there is to the Wii hack?

new to the wii hack scene.

so all there is to be done is long story cut short: put files on sd card, insert in wii, run the zelda game, run the files on sd card. than once that is done use wad manager. this will install icon on wii. just place backed up game in wii and click on the icon.

i know that is very brief but is that all there to it? there isnt a big process missing is there?

oh ye the wii has to be firmware 3.3. is that hard to find these days?

There are a bunch of variables that come into play.

It really depends on what firmware you have.

If you have a Wii with firmware 3.3 OCT 23rd update and above there is a lot more that needs to be done in order to play backups via the boot launcher.

If you have 3.3 before OCT 23rd and below then it is pretty simple to install the boot launcher to play backup games.

The first question that needs to be answered is what firmware is on your Wii system (if it is 3.3 firmware was this updated before or after OCT 23rd and how did you update it Internet or game disc)?

Second question is what region Wii system do you have?
