The new firmware for the Following Eurovox's has been released:
Eurovox MAX Blue
Eurovox MAX Red
Eurovox MAX Black
Eurovox EX1000 SL Slimline
Eurovox EX5000 PVR
If your not sure what your box is, try them all - It will say "Not fit for your reciever" if its the wrong one, and "Version 2 Detected" if its the right one. It will not let you put the new firmware on.
The new firmware can be found on edited by ddp
I dont think its on edited by ddp yet.. But will be in the next few hours i assume?

yes it was out a few hours ago. I've been busy so I'm only just installing it now. Going to run it alongside a max V without the fix so that when the unfixed one goes at keyroll I'll know if this AU is working on the other box.
It's hard to test as there have been no keyrolls since yesterday afternoon.

go to the *removed* name and find the little drop down arrow. Click that and then click *removed* in the dropdown menu.

my thoughts exactly. The max V fix is a UFL file but it looks like a modded version of v2.0 and is not from Kuro so I'm testing it on one box before I put it on any more. That box is scanning for TPs now. As I said above, it can only be tested if there is another keyroll today and I'll report back with that when it does.
Edit just want to update.
Max V UFL update for today has been installed with no hitch. Found 38 transponders which is what I had before and also I believe is the maximum transmitting in the UK. All channels found. Just waiting for a keyroll to test the AU.

Hope it's OK to add some questions to the end of this thread rather than start a new one but tell me if I should. Also warn me if I say something I should not.
I have a Euro Max V which I have just put the 'new' firmware on. I did a power scan which, naturally, did not work so I messed about some more just to break things further.
My last effort, which has produced the same lack of results as before results in the box scanning from 1-770 during which it finds 34 transponders and labels them as things like 147MHz -- 6887(SR).
This seems good but then it goes to, I assume, hunt for channels on those transponders and finds nothing at all which is not so good. When looking for the channels the signal level and quality on each transponder is up at about 80%.
Any hints as to where I might be going wrong here?
Thanks in advance
