Can someone please help?

No issue with the following:
My XBOX 360 could read and play fine with these backup disks.
Samsung D162D Kreon 1.0 for reading backup disks (not the original disks).
Memorex 8X DVD+D DL burning at 2.4X.
LG GGC-H20L burner.
XBC 2.5 for reading a backup disk (not a original disk) and burning.
Notes:
1). Extracted 1 big file about 7G after read.
2). ?Current Patition? selected and ?Complete Backup? grey out? when XBC 2.5 opens.
3). Burn cussesfull.

Issue with the following:
My XBOX 360 couldn?t read with these backup disks. It said disk needs to be cleaned?
Samsung D162D Kreon 1.0 for reading original game disks.
Memorex 8X DVD+D DL burning at 2.4X.
LG GGC-H20L burner.
XBC 2.8 for reading an original disk and burning.
Notes:
1). Extracted 2 files: 1 big file about 7G and 1 very small DVD file after read.
2). ?Complete Backup? selected and ?Current Patition? grey out when XBC 2.8 opens. Which is opposite from XBC 2.5.
3). Burn cussesfull.

What I am missing or what programs should I use to backup and burn the original games so that my XBOX 360 can read and play those backup disks?

Just use IMGBurn to read and write backup discs and Xbox Creator with the Kreon drive to read originals.

Yes, I did as i explained the issue above.
Xbox Creator 2.8 and Samsung D162D Kreon 1.0 to read the original games.2 files were retracted after read. Burn with Xbox creator 2.8/LG burner/Memorex DVD+Dl disk at 2.4X. Burn cucessfull but my XBOX 360 can't read. it said disk needs to be cleaned.

i also tried to read the original using Schtrom360 3.2 and burn with IMGBurn program. and again 2 files were extracted aftr read. Burn cussessfull but Xbox 360 can't read.

My Xbox 360 doen't not have problem reading/playing backup disks from the backup disk games.

want to try Schtrom360 4.0 but couldn't download it. Any suggestions?

Your problem is Memorex DVD+R DL
Use Verbatim DVD+R DL discs and ONLY Verbatims.

Plus in your original post you stated that you used your Samsun D162D Kreon 1.0 for reading backup disks.

That's why I stated use IMGBurn to make copies of backups.

(just my two cents)... do you have a sammy in your xbox? in my experience dealing with used drives with many hours on them the sammies wouldn't read properly ripped and burned memorex dvd+dl. The hitachies usually would. You could tweak the dvd pot and probally get the memorex to read but the laser usually doesn't last long after tweaking the pot (if you go overboard). To solve the problem totally I agree w/PS2Menace... just use Verbatim. If you rip and burn properly and use verbatim, the success rate is much much higher.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for your good inputs. I will try to buy som Verbatim disks and try to burn with IMGBurn later.

I am not sure what drive do I have in my Xbox 360. It was pre-flash modded when I bought it in Philippines and that what I was told.

I will keep you update.

Please throw in any more suggestions that you may have.

Hi Guys,

Just to update you. Still having problem with XBOX 360 couldn't read or reconize disk and disk needs to be cleaned.

-Successfully read with Samsung D162D Kreon 1.0 and XBC 2.8.
-Successfully burn with LG burner/IMGBurn 2.4.2/ and Memorex DVD+D DL at 2.4X.(Did add in 1913760 forlayer break) learned this from the on on youtube.
-Also successfully burn with LG burner/CloneCD 5. and Memorex DVD+D DL at 2.4X. (CloneCD shows layer break of 1913760 when file was open for burning.

I'll need to some Verbatim disks to try out.

Other than Verbatim disks-What else could I try? Please help.

wich speed u burn yo games?sometimes when i burn them with 1x speed they dont work so ill try it with 2.4x and they work after....im using clone cd

Thanks Guys,

It works good with the followings;

XBC 2.7 program
Samsung D162D Keron 1.0
Sony 204 burner burns at 4X.
Memorex DVD+D DL disk.
Successfully backed up Lego Batman (Original game)
My XBOX 360 now could read and play.
