Burning problem- first track no sound after burn

I'm using nero 5. on an xp computer. When I burn a compilation lately the first track on all the disks has no sound. The rest of the songs on the cd play fine. I defragged my hd in case that was the problem but it made no difference.

Any ideas for how to fix this?
